Spam is “simultaneously posted advertising message” according to Computer Encyclopedia.
There are numerous topics in spams. The most common, which is what this blog is also plagued with, is s-e-x products. Other topics may include housing loans, political commentaries among many others that actually sells. The hecklers that webmasters and designers loath.
The simplest way to give the middle finger for these stuff is to include a stripslashes algorithm in your queries or do the jump if you’re using WordPress . The answer is Akismet! Yeah, no tricks!

spam is not that frequent in blogger man siguro.. i mean, wala paman jud ko ka receive ug spam na comment ever since.. I use haloscan to host my comments though..

I already have a total of 2,766 spams on this blog alone. Good thing Akismet is doing its job for me. Kung wa puno nag trackback and comments tanan nakung posts. hehe
