CEL: Troubleshooting ease

Many of us who don’t want to go down and dirty with cars opt to go check engine light for possible malfunctions in the engine. Steady CEL illumination indicates minor faults but relying on this instrument of convenience should not be the be-all-end-all of car ownership. Manufacturers have this included to help owners troubleshoot cars easier but knowing some bits about auto repair is still miles better.

A good car converts to a good buy if serves its purpose well. Having a good executive car like Toyota Camry adds kick to a boring daily routine drive that is home, school, job, school then home. The road may introduce several bumps but knowing our way with cars like the people from Chicago auto repair will wash the worry away.

Having a car is easy, maintenance is not

February 25, 2010 2 comments Fix

Have your car failed you yet? You’re a lucky lucky man if it hasn’t. But as every good thing come to an end, your luck might change and might experience how it is to be stuck in a moment, or two. It’s a fact that one day your car is going to cough up on you.

It could be your car’s damaged head gasket unable to stop engine fluids from leaking or by something else that would not be fixed by easy tweaking. Your luck hat might still have some magic if you’re somewhere near a Los Angeles auto repair. Even the best among magicians, sometimes, run out of magic though.

Getting a car is easy just by the number of options but it would really take thorough understanding of the car and it’s reputation on the road that would have you saying your hurray at the end of the day. Reading reviews such as this one for a Honda Civic should guide you more in the decision. One BIG thing to consider when spending the hard earned bucks in a car is the availability of parts. Maintenance is key to owning the best car. Not the price or the branding but how it rips the road with head up high! :)

Is ‘isass.exe’ a system file or trojan?

December 21, 2008 2 comments Fix

To make this short and succinct, “ISASS.exe” is not a system file. So now we know how to call it – Trojan! :) Allow me to make something interesting about this. If we divide this into two possible words it becomes “IS ASS” which is clever and funny and is not in anyway the characteristic of a system file. System files are often boring like “LSASS.exe” which is the system file.

Users wont be able to boot to safe mode of Windows if hit by this trojan. Booting to Winre and running system restore in Vista systems may work. You’re the luckiest dude(tte) if it’s fixed. If all else fail, reinstalling the operating system should be the last and final solution to this.

Happy fixing, kiddies!
