PGMA+Ampatuans: Anak ng puta naman kayo!
December 11, 2009 1 comment Grrrievance, Pilipinas, PolitricksThis is how far a weak government would go to try to topple an already old force that resides in the mountains and maybe even in the flat lands now. Hire a warlord to govern with a promise of fuck(ing sh)it up with the old force. The hopeful gained nothing and even fired back badly in millions fold.
Too much power is evil much like every other excesses.
What happened in Ampatuan town is a slit in the wrist to Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s cute governing of the country. The final shame! I wont go into details because it’s against the rules that I’ve set for this blog – discuss murder. Try “Maguindanao Massacre” in Google or Wikipedia to learn more if you’ve been lounging somewhere when this happened.
I wanted to just walk away and not speak about a political killing in the country that’s been publicized but I just can’t let this pass. It’s been weeks since this happened and Martial Law is already in effect on the area with rebellion being the reason. Well, rebellion bags lower sentence compared to murder, right? It’s PGMA trying another trick again to save a long-time friend. What do we know.
With too many schools of thought and religion and whatever we’re still not a better race. Yes, we’ve got the comfort of technology and travel but we are killing ourselves. And that’s not only by working or partying too hard, which is acceptable, but by shooting WITH guns? Just plain ugly and senseless.
To those responsible for this act, a perpetual shivering sleepless night to you. And ice droplets to your genitals every five seconds until sunrise – to thaw them frozen liquids and levels and levels of sunburn. Chuck Norris will be there to press REPEAT! (Continued…)
To the Heartless

That’s a set of Coleman camp pads donated by Japan for the typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng victims that never reached the victims. Somebody is trying to hold up the relief goods!
The following links will tell you more about it:
To the Heartless, you know who you are, there’s a place for you!
UPDATE: Very much like the patched zombie, the Heartless was hit by a life-giving spark from the sky on Oct 23 2009. DSWD’s Sec. Cabral now wants volunteers to repack the relief goods, posted through Gang Badoy’s Multiply account.
Carlo J. Caparas: Not a Visual Artist
August 9, 2009 1 comment Grrrievance, PeopleAnother bwahaha moment for the already very laugh-able Ate Glo government that we have. It’s nothing big for the majority of Filipinos but it is for those who happen to respect and appreciate the wonderful three letter perception called A-R-T. Though I’m not really laughing about it because it’s actually a S-E-R-I-O-U-S thing but it being another stupidity by her people made it such.
The thing is called the National Artist Award for Visual Art and Film which was recently awarded to Carlo J. Caparas. A somebody that’s everything but a visual artist.
Here’s Gerry Alanguilan, the other Filipino comic artist I look up to along with Whilce Portacio, summing it up through this line:
You claim you can draw. You’ve shown your drawings of eyes, or whatever they were on TV. But the issue here is whether you drew the comics stories that form the body of your work. YOU DID NOT.
This is what happens when people in the government decides to play god. Go down already, please, or just simply designate the job to people who knows what they’re doing.

The Great Philippine Book Blockade of 2009
May 21, 2009 3 comments Grrrievance
I wanted something to get my cool back about my next door neighbor blasting morning talk shows and Tagalog-dubbed-anime crap on the TV everyday! Whole day! It’s become a routine that in a couple of days I’ve been forever pissed! Blaring thrash music back, with its blast beats and shotguns and growls and screams and what not, is a no go.
Needed something to put away the negative tide that building in me. So I decided to pick up a good book to read. That eventually added sadness to the wanting-to-rush feeling that I tried to control. Why so?
Learning about The Great Philippine Book Blockade of 2009 jacked up what my neighbors did to me more. Philippine government is taxing more on the books, comics, manuscripts and all printed materials that you buy in Powerbooks, National Bookstore, Fully Booked and your trusted local book stores. Taxing is acceptable (Continued…)
Let’s talk customer service, Globe
April 20, 2009 19 comments Grrrievance
Using the Globe Broadband Tattoo for two weeks with no problems skyrocketed the belief that this service will never fail on me. Until, my romance sent me an sms saying that her load was reduced by 15PHP though the internet never really worked and that the signal was inconsistent. Would switch from one type of signal to another(HDSPA to GPRS and vice versa). So, I told her I will check on it once I get out of work.
Upon checking, she was right, that the signal was actually toggling from the two signals mentioned above. And worst, it stayed in GPRS which is as slow as dialup! This had me calling Globe’s Customer Service. Talked with Nelson and though I chose the option for English instructions this guy started the call speaking in Filipino. I continued speaking in English and he eventually did so too. The call was quick and we reached a resolution of the sim card that came with my Globe Broadband Tattoo be replaced as it’s reaching it’s end of life. Thanked the guy and got a reference number which I should use when visiting one of their centers. (Continued…)
To the K, to the F, to the C
December 8, 2008 5 comments GrrrievanceIt’s never my thing to complain and write about it but this got me rethinking.
Went to KFC at Coco Mall in Osmeña Boulevard, Cebu city last night to enjoy some crispy and tasty chicken from the most anti-ed fastfood chain! To my dissatisfaction, the chicken was never crispy and not at all tasty. Not even salty. My two year old godchild could cook better chicken, Mr. KFC!
So, I texted customer service after the quick unsatisfying meal. Got an automated response, at least I know the number is working, that my grrrievance is being taken care of. About an hour after received a real correspondence asking the TXN number of the receipt. Well, I left everything after the awful KFC dinner including my heart to ever come back to that branch or even trying any KFC in the near future. Thanks, whoever you may be, for for taking action but you were asking too many questions!
Cheer up, Philippines! Go to McDonalds or Jollibee if you are into expensive chicken or go to Tagala’s manokan for a real tasty and satifying fried chicken or just stop eating chicken! Go vegetarian and care more about animals!
