Eraserheads Are Back!!!

When a rumor is worth millions and somebody is willing to pay for it it will become less of a rumor. And eventually become a reality. This post is not one of those viral things that most blogs are so down with to up their Technorati ranks and all. This post is backed by a post from the olden days’ #1 Philippine music website, Philmusic.com, entitled “The Eraserheads Reunite - And this time, they’re Smokin’.” On that post is a verification of the one-night-only reunion gig of the most influential band in the Philippines, The Eraserheads. This event is said to be sponsored by cigarette giant Marlboro and a whooping 10 million pesos payout for each member(Ely, Raimund, Buddy, Markus) to perform a 45-minute set of Eraserheads classic.
I first, and last, saw The Eraserheads when they visited Dumaguete city for the Tukar-tukar Ambak-ambak event way back. This event would be a good way for me to relieve that experience but I will miss it - I don’t have the geographical privilege, pare! This night should be a good night for some to get laid and have their first ever Eraserheads ooooohhh.
