Freelancing is another way to earn
October 29, 2008 7 comments FreelancingOh, it seems that I am on a roll for posting money-making entries. Well, nothing is planned for. They just seem to fall into pieces on its own. And, yes, this is not the money-making blog that you are searching for if you originated from any search engine.
I have been roaming in the vast listing of wanted freelancers in GetAFreelancer.com and got picked on one of the bids that I placed on the site about months ago. I was commissioned to finish a project. The job requires me to have this and that into its rightful place. I’ve to do some simple CSS-ing and PHP-ing and HTML-ing. I could do graphic manipulations but I don’t want to specialize on that at this moment as I am working, call it day job, and I’m a bit picky when it comes to that matter so simply put I don’t have the time to work as a graphic artist – yet. I will be the programming guy for this side venture.
I will be giving you updates about what happens as I am still working on the project. Time(zone) difference between me and my client is a b*tch but I’ll try to work it out.

Updates:
- October 29-30: The project was taken to a curve when a disk quota limitation error appeared after sampling the FTP provided. I sent a report and rested. Client called me at around midnight, from whichever part of the world he is, when I am already happily sleeping wanting me to finish the project. I did the I could lose this project but not my day job script to him that would require me to wakeup at around 4:30AM. Emailed client from work, apologized, and got the extension. He still wants me to finish the job. Hurrah!
- October 31: Gave up on the project. So hard to squeeze it in with work and all. I’m putting this phase on hold.
