Global Money Crisis creates Jobs in the PI
October 15, 2008 PilipinasI provide technical support for Dell’s corporate business segment in the United States. That means I talk to Americans working in the army, hospitals, schools among other businesses with more than a hundred employees. People who are affected by the current slump in the global economy. Some Americans who tell you that they just lost their jobs and their computer’s functionality. It’s very sad in that part of the world but this post is not about that but the opportunity that it creates for Pinoys.
The global economic problem will push international businesses to look for cheaper and effective workforce. Meaning: cheap professionals around the globe. 
That is in their perception and spare me the space for smilies please. We just happen to have them, cheap and effective, here in the Philippines and since we have numerous BPO’s expanding really big and doing really great in the country, I’m pretty sure their eyes are looking in our direction.
Watch out for new call, webdesign, transcription among other centers to sprout in our cities in the coming quarters. More IT parks around town, meyn!
