How to enable “Administrator” account in Vista
June 9, 2009 1 comment SoftwareMessed up a user account in your Windows Vista and the only way to fix the problem is by logging in to the “Administrator” account? Ever wondered how to reveal the hidden administrator account in Windows Vista much like how it is in Windows XP to fix the problem?
Follow these simple steps and reboot your computer to safe mode:
- Click the Start pearl. Click Programs, Accessories.
- Right-click Command Prompt. Choose Run as administrator.
- Click Continue to the UAC prompt if it appears.
- At the prompt, type net user administrator /active:yes and press [Enter]
Easy as pie isn’t it?
But then again, as always, the only truth, when all else fail, you know what to do.
