In Flames – A Sense Of Purpose

Since the release of Reroute to Remain, old In Flames fans have been screaming for a repeat of the bands old discography. A rebuilt sound of the strong qualities that made this band legendary and king of their genre on the previous masterpieces. In Flames, though, continued to frustrate these hopefulls. No same album is released. In Flames followed the many routes which presents them progress. Big(good) and little(bad) steps. The little step this time is the lyrics/vocals. The emotions of a 17-year-old delivered by a bratty 18-year-old’s whiny vocalization. The BIG step is the proving of the hypothesis that In Flames’ axemen are the best duo in the metal world and I have always been a fan of In Flames’ drummer and it’s been kept that way. Bassist is also consistent so good job.
