Thirty The Dollar

This is the look of a rice priced at Php45.00
Peso to Dollar exchange rate hits forty four(44) to one(1) today. Good job to Mrs. President because this strength in the currency should be credited to her recent visit to the US and not the recent win of boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao. Be it that or both, the same sentiments remain in the heart of every Filipinos. Price of gasoline and rice still continues to grow. Fare rates are still on every driver’s platforms and rice hoarders still party as hard!
The thing here is however the Philippine peso in strengthened in just a very short span of time won’t be felt by any Filipino. If our government could not stabilize any factor on its functions we will continue to feel irrelevant. Our clinched fisted (Continued…)

Lest We Forget
Comments Pilipinas
I’ve been taking one of the toughest sea current in the country for almost 4 years while in college. Going back and forth in the Tañon Strait between the islands of Cebu and Negros Oriental has given me both the thrills and the chills of travelling through the ocean.
The sinking of MV Princess of the Stars is a testament of how dangerous our seas could get. Add a mixture of wind and rain and it could get more than that. The largest passenger carrying ship in the Philippines did not escape the whipping of nature. Good job to the authorities, ship’s captain and its owner for being brave in allowing the ship to sail and fail. Special mention to our beloved president and a number of politicians who could not even cancel their US trip to maybe save some buck from their 5-star hotel bookings. We feel so fucking loved!

Ces Just Checked Out
1 comment PilipinasHere’s a quote from RD Cruz‘ post about the release of Ces Drilon and party.
It was the most beuatiful thing ive seen in a long time. newsroom personnel gatherd around the speakerphone and just welcomed her back. she passed the phone to Jimmy and he too had his share of welwishers. the newsroom scarmbled to break the story, even as another set started to work on making sure Ces got her clothes and other paraphernalia which had been entrusted to Ina and Jay. I was tonr between laughing and crying.

Callcenter Ho-hum: Racist Gets It
Comments Short On IdeasContinued from this post.
Last time I checked, the issue was escalated to higher management and Mr. Racist gets his system replaced. I’ve no doubt about that since US is a big market for this company so they get the pampering.
Cashed Out Thru Western Union
3 comments AdvertisingA continuation to Adsense Payout Through Western Union.
I had my last month’s Adsense payout cashed out today since most of Western Union outlets that I visited dont have Quick Cash. I was sending Kwarta Padala at MLhullier in Ayala Cebu when I decided to ask if they have Quick Cash. Well, they do and I don’t have my MTCN with me. So, I have to SMS my GF since she have the screenshot. She didn’t include the amount and which was actually the secret question that you have to provide for cashing out. Well, I missed a couple of centavos on my hunch because I was only concerned about the whole – exactly 0.09 cents. But that’s OK because a dollar is 44.40 pesos and the cashout is FREE of charge contrary to what I was expecting when reading Yugatech’s post.
Have all your Adsense payouts through Western Union, Filipinos!
BTW, this is my second Posting@Office.
Callcenter Ho-hum: Present-day Racist
13 comments Short On IdeasAt this day and age?
Today I talked to a real Racist.
He called in because he’s a having a problem with his computer. The problem is simple: computer not booting up with BSOD. A very simple problem. He previously called in and a Filipina noted everything about his racist spiels that he also told me in almost the same order or words. Properly rehearsed, maybe.
Troubleshooting started out fine, we ran the hard drive test and finished it. Then, while on our way to the next step he asked me where I was located. I said in the Philippines. Then, he goes on saying that Filipinos don’t know a thing and that he wants to be transfered to his computer’s support department. I said he is in that department. Then he went on saying nasty things about the Filipinos. He then requested to be transfered to Canada. Well, fine, but you will be transfered back to us. He insisted anyway so gave him the hotline number for Canada support. He asked permission, which I appreciated, that he will disconnect from the call. End of story.
After the shift I told my TL about it. Well, she had the experience before and she retorted. That was fine? Well, yeah, she said…if I only knew mister you could have gotten the best of me! I’ll call you back tomorrow…I fucking have your number!
