The Eraserheads reunion concert will be done and over with tonight. The supposedly FREE concert is pushing through tonight for PHP800 and PHP1300. Marlboro was forced to pullout in their bid to produce the gig by the anti-smoking advocates(Dr. Maricar Limpin and her cronies at the Department of Health). Luckily, somebody’s doing the saving so every eHead may party tonight and I to settle with the DVD release later on.
When the hottest rumor in the local music scene taking place tonight, what’s next?

When a rumor is worth millions and somebody is willing to pay for it it will become less of a rumor. And eventually become a reality. This post is not one of those viral things that most blogs are so down with to up their Technorati ranks and all. This post is backed by a post from the olden days’ #1 Philippine music website, Philmusic.com, entitled “The Eraserheads Reunite – And this time, they’re Smokin’.” On that post is a verification of the one-night-only reunion gig of the most influential band in the Philippines, The Eraserheads. This event is said to be sponsored by cigarette giant Marlboro and a whooping 10 million pesos payout for each member(Ely, Raimund, Buddy, Markus) to perform a 45-minute set of Eraserheads classic.
