TinEye Was My Idea
May 24, 2008 Write a Comment WebNot too long ago(way back in college), it popped in my little mind that Youtube might be able to filter pornographic scenes on the videos being uploaded to its servers. My fellow little minded friends would laugh just at the idea. I’ve even added that an Aaaahhh and Ooommms may be used to screen videos to. But no one ever took me seriously because I myself don’t fuckin’ take myself seriously.
Then…this post from my feed reader – which is Google Reader. TinEye released their invites-only beta site which would allow us, in the future, to search the net using image fingerprints. That which doesn’t use meta data for results but the actual relevance. Watch the video after the jump to learn more and secure the invite.
That little pop-up idea wasn’t very far fetched then, huh?
